Congratulations to Team GB who returned from the 9th European Nations Dragon Boat Championships earlier this week with an array of medals.
Team GB were represented in seven classes: Grand Dragons Open, Senior Open, Senior Women, Senior Mixed, Premier Women and Under 18 in both open and mixed, with representation from Henley in all classes except the Under 18s.

The Premier Women's crew secured three gold medals in the 2000m, 500m and 200m events ! Well done to Arlene and Cat who were part of this winning crew.
The Senior Womens's crew secured a silver medal in 200m and a bronze medal in the 500m, both of which were incredibly close races. Congratulations to Cassy, Jeni, Sara and Tanya who were all part of this winning crew.
Unfortunately, there were no medal wins for the Senior Open or Senior Mixed teams on this occasion, nevertheless both teams put in a sterling effort in all of their events.

Finally, the Grand Dragons secured a silver medal in the 200m event (only 100th of a second away from a gold medal) and a bronze medal in the 500m. Well done to Andy and Chris who were both part of this winning crew.
