The day started with mist swirling around Canary Whalf which quickly burnt off to herald a sunny day. The 200m racing in the morning was fast and furious. Henley were nailing the starts which is important over these short distances. Getting in and out of the boats was more interesting at Victoria Docks owing to the fact there were no landing stages so it was a case of wading in and trying to avoid the seaweed and the odd fish.

Jules pulled up injured in the afternoon so Isobel's cousin was drafted into the Henley ranks and acted as super sub. The sharp eyed race official noted the crafty swap and Allie was promptly sent to see the race official, thankfully she wasn't put into detention and did a super job helming all day. The afternoon saw the 500m races and after some strong starts saw Henley making it to the minor final.
