Denefield Dragons win 2009 Pangbourne Dragon Boat Challenge |

Congratulations to Denefield Dragons who won the 2009 Charity Dragon Boat Challenge at Pangbourne Fete on Saturday.
The annual event organised by The Rotary Club of Pangbourne and supported by Henley Dragons saw twelve crews representing local companies and sports clubs competing along the 250m course for the coveted 2009 title.
With perfect weather and river conditions, there was plenty of friendly rivalry amongst the crews both on the banks and on the start lines and some of the closest finishes we've seen in the history of the event.
Congratulations to all the crews who participated, but a special well done to Denefield Dragons who are the 2009 event winners.
