The Henley crew comprising of paddlers from Henley, BA, Bristol, Secklow and Wraysbury
Around 1,500 competitors from across 12 European countries, will descend upon Budapest next week to compete in the 2009 European Club Crew Championships.
Henley Dragons, along with Amathus Dragon Boat Club and Thames Fortitude will be respresenting the UK in the Premier Mixed, Premier Open and Senior Open classes respectively, racing over distances of 200m, 500m and 2,000m.
In the Premier Mixed category, Henley will be competing against clubs from The Netherlands, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Russia and Poland to name just a few.
We wish all UK crews the best of luck at the championships, but in particular our own crew Henley. Go Henley !
