information about the 28 bridges en route

In what has become an annual event for Henley Dragons, the team is heading off to London on Saturday to participate in London's 'other' marathon - the 2009 Great River Race .

For the first time in the events 21 year history, the 22 mile race will be running upstream from Greenwich to Ham, Richmond - the usual starting point - due to tidal patterns.  The team are all fired up and raring to go, aiming to beat the club's previous best time set in 2007 (2h:24m:39s) when the team finished 3rd fastest.

Check back on Sunday to hear how the team got on.
